History
MyVws.Net has experience hosting web sites since the first release of Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 which came with Internet Information Services version 2.0. MyVws.Net was an early adopter and migrator from CGI code to programming DLLs, and ASP pages. MyVws.Net's ISP experience includes having provided backoffice support for a larger ISP in downtown San Francisco. Services provided included but wasn't limited to integrating RADIUS hardware to a SQL server database for automated billing and provisioning support, and developing an automatic modem provisioning utility for selecting various dial-up numbers.
Growth
MyVws.Net eventually became experienced enough in the ISP business to secure its own
office and open its doors as a smart building solutions provider under the
business name, JKPWare Systems Integration. JKPWare provided full service Internet Services and a LAN
infrastructure for an entire building consisting of more than fifty small businesses. Additionally,
the company incorporated as, iCreate Software Inc., in order to provide contract programming services
for various consulting companies such as PRC, Bedford Consultants, Pacific Bell, USPS,
PMI Home Mortgage, Chordiant Software, and more.
Around 1998, JKPWare evolved into an ASP (Application Service Provider), and was purchased and merged
with a parent company in the San Francisco East Bay providing EDI, PeopleSoft and SAP solutions.
Dot-Com Bust
Because of the acquisition and merger, JKPWare, now part of Legendary Enterprise Systems, was able to continue providing ISP services, Infrastructure support and contract programming for various silicon valley firms. However, around 2001, the parent company's financial situation changed drastically after the opening of a satellite office in Brazil. Furthermore, existing demand from clients in the U.K. began to wane as well. To make a long story short, the founder of JKPWare seperated from Legendary and moved into the EDU space and tacked on Network Engineering services among his repertoire of technical and programming services.
Current
Despite the changing times and the ongoing advances of computer technology, the one thing that remained constant throughout was the need to provide ongoing web design and hosting services. MyVws.Net is the re-incarnation of JKPWare, which was originally established in 1994, as a small one man shop that originally provided MS Office report template design and programming automation, and later grew into a full ISP shop complete with a MCSP certification (Microsoft Certified Solution Provider), and traveled to parts of the world as a Consultant providing CTI (Computer Telephony Interface) programming/implementation services for big business call centers.
It was the ongoing loyalty of a single customer from the very beginning which allowed the web site hosting as a service to continue and continue evolving to what is now, MyVws.Net.
Executive Summary
MyVws.Net is a hosting provider experienced with team collaboration software. Such as, Microsoft SharePoint Services since it's original release under the product name of, Microsoft SharePoint Team Services. MyVws.Net is also pretty damn good with JAVA and Apache as well. A Jack of all trades incorporating Photography, Graphics Design, Computer Networking, Computer Programming with a background in Mainframe operations and programming, and more. MyVws.Net is a compilation of rock solid twenty years of proven Information Technology experience ;)
The Bottomline
What I've found in all the years I've served in the Information Technology industry is, it doesn't matter what and how much you know, customers just need someone who can address their technical needs in a direct friendly manner, and in a way they can understand that helps them meet their bottomline.
