Hot Cold Hot Cold Hot Green!
BRrrrrrr! Eet's s-s-so cold outshide! I'm walking on over to the bus stop, and it feels like snow in Germany. The wind chill is up, and if it blew any harder, it would chill the hair from my scalp and tear it off like it was a toupee'!
Finally, in the city, sun is peeking out from the Oakland Hills, and it feels great to be alive when the city is just waking up! (Inhales the sweet fresh morning air, exhales slowly). Yes! This is what I'm talking about. It's a great day today. (turns the street corner)
O-o-oh.m-m-my.gah-gah-gawd! Eeet's s-s-s-so cold outshide! Brrrrr! Wha happened? First it was cold then, it was warm then, it's cold again! I don't know about you all but, when the weather in the San Francisco Bay is freaky like this? It can only mean one thing...(turns another street corner)
Ahhhh. Whoa! I'm starting to sweat? I shouldn't have worn this Turtle Neck underneath my sweater, and this Parka is just way too heavy to be lugging around but, man-oh-man, I love the warm...(cross the intersection)
...neaaayaaagh! The feeling in my toes! It's all gone! My fingertips! I can't feel the inner lining of my extreme cold weather military issue gloves! My lips are turning blue! Please...just one more block to my building, and I'll be in the... (Panting in the lobby, looks over to the security guard) Yo bruddah, I think somebody got a little too happy with the thermostat. I might have to turn you over so you bake equally on all sides!
(Sneezes!) Achoo! (plays it off reaching for ID badge, and wiping hand on back pocket) Oh man. (sniffles) I'm sooo looking forward to the weekend already. (is tackled by a group of men in white lab coats) What the? Hey! Who the heck are you guys? And, why did you jump me? What's this you slapped on my forehead? (pulls sticker off, and reads label) "GO HOME SWINE! YOU'VE GOT THE FLU!"
(cell phone rings. it's the company emergency system) "This is an Emergency Alert. We are advising all staff, faculty and employees to remain at home. A part of the San Francisco Bay Area fell into the ocean at approximately...*dead tone*...and by the way, we are going green. That is all. *walkie talkie squelch*"
(rolls eyeballs) Looks like it's gonna be another same ole, same ole.
